Duron is Cheeper and Performs Better. Why would u buy Celron when duron exists? I had a Celron 500 and it was never overclocked, and I found it to be very unstable I got rid of it and got me a AMD 900 that is a nice performance jump. Celron = Crash when u stress the system. Has any1 else found this to be true also?
Celron 2 is actually a p3 so that is totally different than Celron 1. Maybe because Mine was a emachine :( I just about jumped for joy when some1 said they would buy it :)

I posted this in Intel CPU Discussion Form also and got some excellent opinions

Freedom of choice and I consider that a good thing.
Im an Amd fan but I have friends that will brag up thier Intel celerons and pent. 3 and 4's.And we all know which is better

2. Poor retailers Ive noticed alot of local retailers like to sell thier garbage and blind the truth of value and performance.

3. The Blue man group.

4. Its the same with all hardware look at the headed battles over video cards its a preference thing. Ati vs nvida the old 3dfx vs nvida

The duron and t-birds are a do-it-yourself type of persons favorite but without intel we wouldnt enjoy the same low pricing we are spoiled with now.

Why would you buy Celeron when Duron exists? Well anybody that knows about computers dont. Celeron outsells duron in computer packages at Best Buy, but overclockers and all other buyers i bet buy Duron a lot more often. Why? Because its cheaper, more overclockable, and is better for any clock speed compared to a Celeron. Peace Im out!!!
