I am upgrading my brother's memory...

from 256MB to 512 or whatever
his asus motherboard has 4 slots for memory stics but all of them have memory cards. I assume 4 64mb sticks. Do i just remove 2 of them and install the new ones? which brand do you suggesst?

What Asus motherboard ??? And what memory is in the box ??? Complete system spec's are kind of necessary to get good infromation...Or at least motherboard, cpu and the memory you plan on mixing it up with...
