Which of the RAM slots should i use on NF7

I've got a pair of the Corsair TwinX ram, does it matter which slots i put them in?

just make sure one is in the furthest slot (the one on its own). Doesnt really matter which slot the other stick is in.

In the manual says that if youre going to use dual channel it recommends to put the dimms in sockets 2 and3

True. It will work in 1 and 3 however, as mentioned above.

Mine is in slots 2 and 3. I've never tried 1 and 3...maybe I will tonight and see what happens...

I was curious awhile back and did try both 1 & 3 versus 2 & 3. 2 & 3 was ~12Mhz better overclock for my board anyway. I would tend to say that my result only suggests you might want test and see. Other option is to consider that Abit had a reason for suggesting 2 & 3 as dual slots?

I put them in 1 and 2, I just figured they'd have the dual channel set up that way.

I'll switch it around..... and benchmark it!
