I have an AMD 1.06GHz which I overclocked to 1.4GHZ but I went crazy and did it all the way to 1.8GHz the max I could set it to

but the computer wasn't ready

everytime I start my computer it makes the normal noises and I can open and close the CD drive and here the harddrive but the is nothing on the monitor and the keyboard and mice aren't working

is there any way to fix it which doesn't involve replacing hardware or do I need to replace something

I don't know the model of the Motherboard but it's a ASUS

Hold down the delete key when you first start it up, should get you into the BIOS setup screen, if not then get out your manual and read about clearing the cmos and the correct jumpers. Welcome to the forums!

thanks I have fixed it now you saved me about $500 because I would've brought a new motherboard

well it's fixed now
