Hey all

got myself a P4P800.

i had it running and overclocking it to see what i could do

- NO ahrd drive, just bios to see what it would boot at.

Anyways - i turn it all off, go shopping - come back and now when i turn it on, it stays on for maybe 7 seconds, then powers down.

i took out the

ram / video card / hard drive and any extra items and it still powers down.

i have tried 3 other power supplies and cleared the cmos but it sitll powers down after about 7 seconds@

any ideas?

it was working fine about an hour ago but not now!

npoe - i am getting nothing on the monitor

with a hard drive plugged in the HD spins up
all fans go on

then it kicks out and even the fan on the power supply goes out.

i took out ALL items - ram / cpu everything and the motherboard goes on, and then off

arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

what could it be?

LOL

i think the power / reset switch on the case was crewed!

i tried both the power and rest buttons and they did the same so i figured no way it is that

pulled out and on/off switch from another system and BAm works fine!

so far - fingers crosSed!!

lol

yeah - i got excited and started playing halo..lol (which kind of sucks for online play)

but yes - i am using the reset button now as the power button it was screwing up before but seems to work fine now.

too bad i can only get my 2.4a @ 125FSB :(
