a friend of mine is trying, along with me, to determine why his machine is bluescreening at completely random times. his setup looks like this
abit is7-e
antec true430
twinx512-3200ll
intel p4 2.4c sl6z3
zalman cnps 7000 cu
nvidia fx5900 ultra 256mb
sb audigy
i think we've got it narrowed down to the memory, as when it is run in dual channel mode it will crash at completely random times, with a different driver related bsod every time. what is the best way to be completely certain that a single stick of ram is the compatability problem in a system?
any input is appreciated.
