Hey, no need to overclock (yet) or use dual channel (yet) I just want something that will run great at default speed of 333 Mhz with Cas 2. And 512 sticks please! Thanks folks. Right now I'm thinking of the Crucial/Micron 512's at Newegg.com for 86$.

The crucial should be fine. I use them in all my non-o/c rigs I build because there is a lower chance of having to do repairs and price. On a side note you will even get a decent o/c from them sometimes.
You could also look into Kingston Value. If I remember right Circuit City or one of those stores had it on sale for 50.00 or so after a rebate.

I'm done with Kingston Value - I was using 512 of it now and one of the sticks putzed out on me, no OCing or anything.
Thanks for the reply though, looks like the Crucial prolly is my best bet.

iam not sure about CAS 2.0 w/ CRUCIAL however at 333mhz is easily obtained with pc2100 crucial stick, or at least all 4 sticks i been using are, but they run at cas2.5 though.
ADDED:
If I were you I would try the refurb RAM AT newegg.
Those HyperX pc2700 can run@200mhz not sweat. And that is for $56

The 2 512mb pc2700 crucial sticks i got (for $55 :) each) cant do cas2. The lowest i've gotten them to do was cas 2.5 @ 333mhz. Ive been running them in dual channel though so that may make a difference.
