My friend has an AMD based machine with a Athlon 1.4ghz CPU and a dual sided 512MB module. The motherboard is some sort of GigaByte board that only supports up to a 133mhz bus.

This isn't a new module. It was in someone’s P4 machine who graciously sold my friend the stick for cheap. Worked fine in the P4@133, however when we put the memory module into the Athlon, only half of the stick detects. Odd, so i upped the voltage on the stick a little and it works fine.

Has anyone had this happen to their memory?
