umm, a week ago they had that CPU for $171 WITHOUT the sale. Riiiight. Sunday is the price drop so I would wait and see what happens.

The 2.4C had dropped to around $165 before price raises hit it over all the online resellers to around $180. With the 2.6C and 2.8C dropping in price, one can expect the 2.4C to drop back below $165 sometime soon.

i was going to say pretty much the same thing but i wasn't sure if it would have been a thread crap. i got one for 165$ not too long ago without a sale.

bummer. I posted this becuase I just paid 190 for mine from newegg last week. I thought 175 was a great deal (comparitively). Oh well..
