its really heavy (200lbs) so expect to pay probably 100$ to ship it.
it really doesnt say how cold it gets either.
says it holds a 1C water temp
nah. i wouldnt. thats not to great for the size and cost. i thought it would get at least -30. oh well.
man its hard to find anything that'll chill water on ebay..

Their maybe thermostat that will not let get down lower?
Ask the seller if he knows the compressor size?
About the leak that depends what is leaking.

Yeah that high temp is a combonation of thermostat, metering device and refrigerant used.Modified accordingly it should get at least -30c.Just disabling the thermostat might be able to get you that.
true. but you have to think that hes buying this pre made unit so he doesnt have to modify much. if you have to recharge, cut, ect why not just get a comp from the junk yard and get -30? and it doesnt weight 200lbs ;)
man if only i had a junkyard full of compressors ;)

Yeah the shipping is killer, esspecially along with the price of the unit.Just wanted to make it clear that it is suitable for low temps, but not worth it.Unless you could do a local pickup.
