I'm running a 8K7A Mobo with a 1.4 AMD @ 1.53
The question is I was wondering what a good temp would be?
50c underload 44c idle. Is this something to worry about 50-51 c

The fan is a Delta3 on a CGK760092 Heat sink http://store.yahoo.com/inflowdirect/taiscgforhea1.html

As for the jumper on the voltage setting on my motherboard makes my voltage go from 1.79 default to 1.89 for the next setting. But I was having errors sometimes with it on 1.79. So I bumped it up to the next setting and its running fine. I have good air flow in the case, 2 large intake fans and 2 large outtake fans.

I just need some advice from anyone that has the same setup. On the Sandra software, I look at the bios info for my current temp. I have heard the the bios is not correct, but I needed some kind of guild line on what it was running. So just sitting here typing this it runs around 44c but when I run the CPU burn-in program
it jumps to 50c or so after its done. Any advice. Or is this safe, and for how long.

"Using Grease and not the stock crap on the heat sink btw..."

NO!, 51c is cold for a 1.4GHz Athlon running under max load. AMD rates there 1.33GHz Athlon at 53c and 1.4GHz Athlon at 55c. Just stay under 55c and your running cool enough.

You're doing alright for a 1.4 @ 1.53 air cooled. I wouldnt worry about it.
