I recently purchased an Athlon 1.33Ghz 266fsb and the ASUS A7M266 motherboard expecting to run at 266fsb. What I have found is that the machine is running at 10 X 133 MHz. My motherboard will not let me change the multiplier which is locked at 10.0. I know this is to do with the CPU so how do I get the board to run at 266fsb. Should this be automatic or am I missing something fundamentally basic???

Your cpu has an internal clock speed of double the FSB, so 2*133=266. In other words: everything is in order!

Btw, welcome to the forums!
