Why wont the 1.4 gighertz cpu go higher than 1.6gighertz

I want to buy either a 1.333 or a 1.4 gighertz but im not sure because i heard the 1.4 isnt so great to overclock and its literly a hot chip

The faster these chips run, the more heat they're gonna throw off. A 1.4 gig @ 1.75V throws off ~72 Watts. At 1.6 gig @ 1.85 V ~ 92 Watts. That's a lot of heat. Until these chips come out with some lower power consumption feature overclocking them will be come more difficult.
