I just ordered a Future Power megacase with a 400w power supply. Is it enough to handle a 1.4 antlon with good components also installed? Here's the link to the case:

I would think so, you would want to look at the total power output of the PSU to be sure. You might also want to see if the power supply is on the AMD 1.4 ghz Approved list.

I don't know what HSF you are going to get but an orb on an Athlon has a reputation for killing cores (by breaking/chipping them).

Yes it should be. Hopefully that PSU is on the AMD approved list. As for the orb, i see you are using it on a p3. Use a good hsf on your tbird, you will be much happier.

A good 400w PSU is more than enough. Make sure it is 400w sustained and not peak power.

I agree that the Orb is a HSF to avoid with AMD CPUs. Have seen to many people cry after using it.
