Ok I'm thinking on getting a new Thunderbird 1.3 or 1.4 ghz chip, but as i've seen, it's real hard to overclock due to heat problems. Anyway, if i get one of these chips, which mainboard(s) do you guys suggest. Keep in mind Memory type and free slots and all that jazz. Thanks guys....

Well if you want to go with a DDR setup Epox makes a good mobo. I dont know the model number since I dont use that kind of setup. I have heard a lot of good things about it and its pretty cheap for a DDR board. You could also get an Abit KG7 but they are pricey so unless you have 200 bucks to spend just on a mobo chances are its not for you. For SDR I would go with Abit KT7A-Raid or Abit KT7E. The KT7E is only 88 bucks on pricewatch and while it claims to only be a 100 Mhz mainboard i have heard that every one of them can make it to around 140, the same as the KT7A. For the best overclock go with the 1.33 AHYJA, the 1.4s dont do much better or any better at all than the 1.33's. For SDR i would chose Kingmax PC-150, and for DDR i think Crucial PC-2100 is what everybody is raving about, but im not sure about that.
