Duron 800 o/c

I have a Duron 800mhz cpu with a Epox 8kta2 133 mb.
I can set the multiplier up to 8.5 after 8.5 the screen doesn't go on
Could it be my psu 250watt. Im desperate isn't this thing suppose to go up over 1ghz.

250 watt psu? Get a more powerful one. 300 min

actually some people are running 400 watts for sability at high voltage and clockspeeds.

I'd get something AMD approved and see where that takes you.

Welcome to the forum

You will most certainly need a better power supply than the 250 w you currently have. ( a 300 w minimum )
Most Duron 800's will make 1 ghz providing you can keep them cool, I run mine @ 1050 (7.5x140) for more information on what performace levels people are obtaining from the Duron 800 check the CPU database on the front of this site
