IC7 - IAA and Intel Chipset S/Ware

I have just bought an IC7 MB.

On Abits web site the latest Intel Chipset S/Ware is V5.00.1015
and the latest IAA is IAAR30.

On Intels web site the latest is V5.0.2.1003 and IAAR352.

Whats everyone else using?

Also I want to mirror 2 x SATA disks, does this mean I have to use the Silicon Image ports (3 &4)?

I don't think the Intel ports (1 & 2) support raid 1.

I think the latest IC7 bios (or the July 2003 anyway)has the update to support the RAID 1 option.

You will also need the latest IAAR (3.5v I think) from Intel that added the support. Don't have it handy or I would point you to it.

Should be able to mirror then (RAID 1).
