man, how do i stop this? looks like a file keeps on activating a virus/trojan. loader.exe seems to be placed in numerous folders. system virus scans detect and delete it but it keeps on comming back:mad:

Have you tried a Trojan Scanner? Find the name of the trojan and do a google search.

i have norton professional and it does detect and clean everything* but the loader.exe files keep comming up at random times.
norton tells me to reboot in safe mode and do a full system scan to remove this and that is what i do but it keeps comming back.
update; ok i googled loader.exe and found that i should get spybot from download.com for free. i am running it now and it looks promising. it already detected some files.

Sounds like you have a little spyware. Not a huge problem. Spybot is good, I also use Ad-Aware. Between the 2 proggies, you should get everything cleared up.

you might need to go into the registry and change things...norton virus data bank or whatever should have some info online...last trojan i had attached itself to explorer.exe so when that first run it would also run the trojan...just something to check

Also if it does happen again and you can't seem to remove it you might want to check and make sure that there isn't something running in the services window. That could create it to come back again and again or even prevent it from being deleted.

well, now windows is acting funny on the dually (i am currently replying on the laptop).
windows loads, but i cannot run anything, it will just stay there. screen acts funny and sometimes i get a glimps of something called sysfader or sysfade being activated as an application/or process...dont know what this is. i can't even open windows explorer or do a run command or else the system freezes. "ccapp" keeps on malfunctioning and i can't even shut it down. ran a norton virus scan (with current definitions) under safe mode and nothing came up....only thing that works is safe mode.
i also dont have any power on the on-board lan anymore......:(
tried running a windows repair process with the master cd but no good.
