Question About Stepping Codes

I am getting a 1.2 266 and I plan on minor overclocking. What ever the chip runs stable at is fine with me, I am not going for huge gains Some companies are selling AXIA coded chips for $30.00 more. My question is this, can I role the dice and order a non specified chip and still be able to overclock if I dont get a AXIA.

well , I would find an axia but they will all overclock the axia's just seem to be a legend at overclocking and do it better then almost all , but the 1 ghz axia does better then the 1.2 ghz axia in averages
