Higher multiplier lower FSB, or lower multiplier and higher FSB?

Scratch my old message, I wasn't reading right.

I really don't think it makes a difference, but if I were betting, I would say lower bus speeds would be a bit cooler. Give it a try.

Lower FSB= lower temps, for me. If reported temps mean anything, but hey they may not!

I'd have thought a higher fsb would mean that the other components in the comp (memory, PCI/AGP cards etc) would be running slightly hotter, which may be enough to raise your case temp by a degree or two. If that happens, your cpu temp would also rise by a corresponding amount. I doubt the difference would be huge, and may be too subtle to detect with an onboard mobo sensor - just try both and see which gives you lower temps.

9.5 * 105 = 55C "IDLE"
