Im getting a new MoBo GA-7N400PRO2 and 2500 Barton. I just want to check that this is the CORSAIR everyone talks about.

Corsair is the one you want, but I don't know if you want to go with cas 3 ram. Cas 2.5 is the norm and cas 2 is really high performing timings. I usually try to stick with cas2.5 and with Corsair there is even a chance you can get cas2.5 down to higher performing cas2 timings. Good Luck!

Since your going for low-cost memory, I would recommend Buffalo PC3200. It uses the same Winbond CH-5 chip currently found in high-priced Corsair XMS and Mushkin BL1 memory.

It costs $83/512MB shipped, and should be capable of 2-3-3 timings (maybe 2-3-2) at 200MHz (DDR400) when running at 2.6V+.

Also, you could maybe try KingMax PC3500, which costs $89. Although is CAS Latency 2.5, instead of 2.0 as Buffalo's, it's very stable memory that likes to run at low voltage (2.5-2.6V). Timings it likes is 2.5-3-3 and can run FSB 225+ (if you like to run with a low multiplier on your 2500+). Link Here.

This Then?

CORSAIR 512MB PC3200 VALUE SELECT. VS512MB400 DDR RAM - OEM
184-Pin. CL=2.5-Unbuffered 2.5V. 64x64 Requires DDR 400 supported Motherboard - Lifetime Warranty. Model#: VS512MB400 -OEM

$90.15

Please check my sig to make sure this is what I want...Im very close to placing this order including all the parts in the sig (via the OC link of course).

Thats fine. Sounds like a great system. Have fun with it! Good Luck.
