Im posting this here because this is where I always see people using it for their potential mods. What is the software you guys are using to show "models" of you mods? I just saw one here the other day and I meant to ask then. Thanks!

do you mean drawings/plans?
People use pretty munch EVERYTHING. From a crooked 2min drawing in MS paint, to a professinaly looking drawing in Auto-Cad. I am learning AutoCad 2002 in school right now, and it would definately be my tool of choice for making any kind of design.

Solid Works is the easiest to make and manipulate 3D models in...That I know of at least ;)

I Personally use Solid Works, Inventor 5, AutoCAD 2004, 3Ds Max 4, and Viz 4. Solid Works is the easiest...but not as in depth as Inventor.

Don't limit yourself to AutoCAD 2002....It's 3D is horriable. Try to learn alot of the programs, you'll find they all have a lot in common like comands, etc.

Oh and cheap easy to use 3D program is Rhino. Just doesn't have a lot of features, but is cheaper. :D

I have not gotten to 3D modeling in AutoCad, but i have used Inventor 5 & 6, just learned a bit by myself, and its pretty easy.

I was trying to point out that a lot of forums members do not have legal copies since we know where to get cracked ones. Therefore, to a member of the forums, you are a foolish man if you spend big bucks on software that you dont need that badly. (I'm guessing from the quality of your work that you are in a field where you use 3d software)

I actually buy all my software that I really need, but some programs that I will only use once but cost something like €1000, I get from other sources. Do not PM me, since discussion about cracked or illegal sofware is not allowed on the forums.

Actually I don't pay a dime for anything...I have a rich uncle who sends them to me :D

I have in upwords of $20,000 worth of programs he has sent me. I would never pay that much myself.

i get my programs cheap from my sisters college she buys em for like 5 bucks and sends em to me muahahahahahah!
