Thats to bad cause I am really diggin' my Halo game. This game is just way killer. I don't know what thier thinkin' cause pc Halo is selling like hotcakes.:rolleyes:

They will have it out for xbox til everyone gets it for that, then they will have it out for pc.

They probably don't want to have halo 2 for xbox to compete with halo 2 for pc. They want people to buy both, so they can make the most $$$$$$$ :D

i would think if they had it on xbox first and then released it about 6 months later it wouldnt effect xbox sales really...since most people who would buy the game would buy it within the first few months of retail.

They will probably release it for Xbox, wait 6+ months, and then release it for PC, with like 3 new maps and 2 new guns and a free poster inside. That way all the Halo fans will be driven to own both copies :P

Don't count on Halo 2 pc any time soon. They just got out the frist one for pc.

Why make Halo 2 for pc soon after the first is released... Don't count on it for a long time, especially with Halo 2 Xbox Live compatible. I see them milking it until Xbox Live subscribers probably double or more.

Yup... MS is going to milk the Halo 2 cow for all it's worth, then release a PC version a year or so afterward. Good marketing strategy imo.

'Sides, why would they release the X-Box's flagship title on any other console at the same time the X-Box version is debuted. 'Tis the way it should be... I don't see anybody complaining that Sony isn't releasing Jak and Daxter 2 for PC :rolleyes:. The X-Box still needs something to distinguish itself from the competition.

Me too... I've been playing the demo a lot online... the addition of the Banshee is very very nice. I want to see how the other vehicles play in comparison to the x-box version.

I wonder what kind of vehicular goodness they'll throw in Halo 2...

I believe that somewhere on the bungie site it says that to get Halo 2 you MUST buy an Xbox. I took this as it will not be released for PC at all.

Remeber that Halo 1 was originally designed for PC and was planned on PC release, if they release it I bet it will be 1 year+.

That's what I'm sayin! The Halo demo has such awesome multiplayer, I'm hyped over Halo 1, I don't want to be thinking about Halo 2 for a long while...

On the contrary I see sales increases for Xbox. I wouldn't count on an emulator.

yeah i hate MS but they are smart. i am going to buy an xbox just for halo2 and to sign it up for xbox live.

I think Halo 2 and HL2 are tied for the game I'm anticipating playing the most. The funny thing is, they're both going to come out within a few weeks of eachother! My wife won't have any contact with me for months!!!
