Can't Install XP. Help Please?

Hi

I could never complete my installation for windows xp pro sp1 intergrated for some reason.

it always freeze up when I have 34 mins lefts and after the windows flickering two times. It will freeze.

I tried another video card still no luck. Do you guys know any idea why it's acting up like this to me?

Usually when someone is having this problem, it is memory related.
Were you using this system with another OS, and are upgrading? Or is this an entirely new system?

I would go into your BIOS, and load Fail Safe Defaults, and back off any overclocking you may have done.

No luck still? Try another stick of RAM if you have one, or just one if you have more than one.

Still no luck? Try Memtest. (http://www.memtest86.com/)

Repo Man was correct about your sig... So you don't have to dig through the rules, the limit is ten lines of text at your current text size, or 13 lines of text at size=1.

StealtheR Welcome to the Forums.

Crashing during installing Windows XP is normally down to Bad or Damaged Ram. If you have 2 sticks try just using one, or if you have another stick not in use try that.

Also are you trying to install over clocked ? Try it at stock.

i edited my post in case any more issue for myself and the rest of the board.

i tried it on stock setting and another vga card still no luck. it always crap out on me @ 34 mins after 2 flickering on the screen.

i always run 1 stick of crucial ddr rite now..:( wish i have another stick to test out. I guess i'm out of luck!
