can't retrieve work data

i have tried 4 or 5 times in the last 3 days and can't receive any data...do i need to reinstall? what's the deal? thanks for your help...

Are you behind a proxy server or firewall at all? What internet connection do you use?

i use a dial up connection but never had problems before...lately, tho....maybe i need to check my firewall (norton)....
