Ok, ive done a little upgrading for my machine to allow me to overclock it. I changed the mobo from a KT7 to a KT7A version, I changed the ram to crucial PC133 guarrenteed to 150Mhz. I also tried the pencil trick on the L1 bridge with a standard (not mechanic) 2B pencil but that didnt unlock the multiplier (Prolly not enough carbon content). But anyways, I've got a little bit more o/c power...

Before I couldn't even hit (11.0x103) 1133Mhz stable but now I get
Now I can get (11.0x105) 1155Mhz stable but after hours of SETI@home my comp freezes. Infact I even took off HST+PCICLK on my SMIII and got to (11.0x108) 1199Mhz. But this had the exact same problem. I am almost certain that is my weak 300w psu. I think this because my neon flashes all the time and my power readings fluctuate all over the place.

Anyways, when I changed mobo I cleaned my core up to put AS on and I made a note of the code....

How good is this type of chip at overclocking?

Use the CPU Database on the front page. there is quite a few AJFA chips.
