$21.99 + shipping
It comes with a 74mm TMD fan that does something like 36cfm at less than 40db. Not bad for a Thermalright heatsink and fan- usually they're more like $35-50 when you factor in the fan and shipping...
Not very reputable dealer. I paid 125$ for winbond bh5. Got ram under a heatspreader with a sticker that was set so removing heatspreader to verify chips would void my warrantee. I eventually said screw it, took off the spreader and it was vdata 6ns which sold for about 80$ at the time I bought this.
I posted about this on resellerratings, and they accused me of something; though even I'm not sure what. Their entire tone was that I was somehow a crook for expecting to get the product I paid for.
I would advise you avoid them.

Send it to vendor discussion. :)
I've always had an ordeal buying ram online- either the manufacturer produces junk, or the vendor swaps products on you (always to your detriment) and hides it under a heatspreader. No names here cough... OCZ... cough.
Anyway, I don't see how a maybe-not-so-good-but-I-haven't-had-problems-with-them-in-particular vendor could mess up on a thermalright cooling product. Not like they could swap it out for a Thermaltake Volcano 2 or something wihtout me noticing....
Could send you the early tmd's that had issues shorting out and blowing up and such.

I'm already a little bit cautious regarding that fan... though I think the early models were all 70mm not 74mm.
I'll have to let you guys know what I think about the product once it gets here. Luckily I have spare fans aplenty if it turns out I want to use a different one.

How could you not support them when right there in their ad it supports us.

EDIT: I just found this. It's not a bad price for Windows 2000 either...hopefully it will stay at that price when it comes back in stock.

yeah i was in on that ordeal to when they stated they were selling winbond bh-5, and then like a day later switched to high speed .13 micron ram or something like that.
I never have looked under the heatspreader but its at 225mhz 5-3-3....regardless if they sent me non winbond memory i most likely wouldnt buy from them again.
Yeah I got a really good stick of pc2700 vdata... but it's still pretty obvious that they intentionally decieved their customers and meant to cover it up with the placement of the warrantee sticker. Even if the vdata was better memory than bh5 (which it most certainly isn't). I still wouldn't do business with them again as it is painfully clear that they engage in not even questionable; but downright crooked business practices.
Nearly every place listed on pricewatch has good reviews... even the horrible ones. Buying a heatsink isn't something they could too easily screw you on. But I do believe that people looking at this as a good deal should know the kind of business practices they are supporting. Plus the owner of hardcorecooling eats babies.
Quite frankly I find the 20$ slk900A at svc a much better deal from a very reliable seller.
SVC... no, we don't eat babies.
I tell you, they should hire me to write ads for them.

that 2k stuff is OEM. so its not that big of a killer deal (gotta buy it with hardware)
and whether they have us listed on thier site...they shouldn't try to screw over the members here like Lithan for example :)
and I got no money now so oh well either way :(
*edit* upon re-browsing thier site.. I decided to glance at the RAM.. now this I feel is extremely shady thing they are doing
http://www.hardcorecooling.us/product.asp?3=462
first its advertised as Utilizes Ultra Performance Winbond chips.
then further down the description it says High Speed 0.13 micron chips using the same die as those in Winbond chips now it says they are "like" winbond chips.
now scroll down to look at the benchmark.
its comparing PC 3200 CL2.5, PC2700 CL2 and the rest, whatever. now the RAM for sale is PC3200 CL2, now it sure as hell better benchmark higher than that other stuff. I feel this is bordering on false advertising. Not gonna buy from someone who does this. And also note that there is no printscreen of any chipset info or anything, And of course they have heatspreaders..... so goodluck actually getting winbond chips from them :)
And they have lifetime warranty but no mfr is mentioned anywhere :D

Yeah, I grabbed an SK900a on SVC for $19.99 at the same time as the slk700 from hardcorecooling. But once I added a decent fan and paid for shipping, my order at SVC was $38. The SLK700 came out to about $26.
Ram-
I got burned enough to realize that paying an extra 20-50% for good ram is just not worth it, unless I have money to burn on THE BEST. If I can hit 200FSB on a generic 512mb PC3200 stick that I paid $75 for, I figure I came out ahead of people who paid more and risked bad advertising by ram vendors to get a stick that does 220FSB.
Guess bang for buck mentality really comes out once you own more than 5 computers...

the only RAM ive actualy paid big (relatively) bucks for was the mushkin that I just got. which is some nice stuff and got from newegg. other than that, for the rest of my machines Ive gone for the bang-for-buck way as well.. its hard to keep/get computers built with little income or sporadic income. And I still need more parts lol
I've never bought mushkin (though now is the time... it's almost as cheap as hyperx). But I gotta love the pc3000 hyperx I've owned. Won't be buying generic for my main system ever again.
And when I bought my stick it was advertised as PC3500 cas 2.0 With WINBOND sub 5ns chips! It said nothing about being similar to Winbond. It said it was winbond. Then when people complained about not getting winbond, they changed it to say uses the same die as winbond or some crap like that.

exactly what happened to me....btw i just buy the expensive ram anymore, i either settle for slightly lower timings or just dont run the fsb as high. I have 4 512 sticks of crucial 2100 that i got for like 60$ shipped each that do pc3200 at 2.5-6-3-3....so i totally agree with you Arkaine

ya, for "bargain" RAM Crucial I think is King, with (most) Kingston up there with it.
