I have a jumperless motherboard and a award bios that does not allow me to change voltage settings or anything else for that matter. Going to pencil L1 bridges but need to change voltage as well. Suggestions anyone. Appreciated!!The computer is an ibm jobby. Hard to get any info on the damn thing. I do like the processor though. i am still trying to id mobo. Ibm says its there's.

a rundown of system specs would help, have you tried a program like softfsb to raise your fsb. By any chance did you buy you comp from a company like dell or something, because they are usually locked completely from overclocking

You can change the voltage of the chip through the L7 bridges if your mobo does not allow it

Try http://www.motherboards.org/ and use the MOBO ID TOOLS to try to find your mobo maker.
