0.2.2 is getting fairly crash free. Still no model animations, but muuuch better than 0.2.0

By the way, I think I remember talking to you a while back out PIIIs + RDRAM on the Mushkin forums. I see you went with the P3C-D. I'm sure it outperforms that old Via board... although the DIMM riser cuts down on performance. :(

Yes, it is quite good, and it does have some bugs yet, but it's still beta (remember what CS was like in its early days), it is pefectly playable with a crash...mm, every hour or so - not too bad.

It's Vice-City multiplayer. (they also have one for GTA3)

There is a deathmatch mode, and stunt-only mode (no guns, tons 'o bikes).

That's me :), and I actually ended up getting 512Mb of Mushkin 1066 for $150 from a member on this board, so that deathly riser card is sitting in a box. I'm really glad I went this way and the only complaint I can think of is the slight cooling difficulty with slockets. I'm currently using SK6+s with a 120mm fan in the side panel next to them. Other than that, this thing works like a dream. Thanks for your indirect persuasion. :D
