OK I took A Duron 800 and I penciled it But when I go into my BIOS and change the multiplyer when I reboot I get an error.. is it safe to say I havent unlocked the chip??

more than likely yes. Perhaps try the pencil thing again.

what error are you getting?

Maybe your pencil traces touched the other bridges. You have to make sure the other brigdes are not touching. Good Luck!!
