Unlocked AMD 1.4 nothing unusual??

Just got my TBird and it's already unlocked.

Is that common???

And, what's 133 FSB, the Chip-Code ending on B or on C?

My 1.4 Athlon came with the L1 bridges unlocked. L7's weren't though. And I believe that the C is indeed 133.

I believe all 1.2 and 1.4 chips are unlocked from the factory. Thanks AMD.

congrats on the new chip, and welcome to the forum.

Its very common for all chips over 1GHZ to be unlocked, expecially the ones with the new stepping ie AYHJA.

A= 133MHZ FSB, B= 200MHZ FSB, and C= 266MHz FSB
