Alright! Just hit the GiG on my Duron 750 @ 1.888v!

Just awesome!!! I just hit it this morning when i did the mod the the processor again where it sets my defualt voltage to 1.85v. In reality it gives my 1.888v. 7 X 143, CAS3 (my Pc133 ram is crap, and it does CAS2 @ 140, and CAS3 up to 161. My Pc2100 DDR ram should be here today)

I really wonder what this chip can do at say 2v! So far on my extremely crappy heatsink, doesn;t even have a name LoL, with a 80mm delta @ 25v, i have an idle temp of 42C, and a load temp of 46C. Room temp is 34C. I have tried 1008, but it quits to the desktop after about 2 mins of 3dmark2001 benchmark. I am burning in @ 1001mhz 1.888v for about 5 hours, then my ram should be here.

Even though my computer is much faster @ 964 1.775v, 161fsb, 6 multiplier, i would like to hit around 1050 with about 2v, with is my goal right now. Anything more is just an added bonus! I think that if i lower my temp to about 39C idle, and 42C load, i can hitt 1015, stable @ 1.888v. By then, a mod for the A7A266 should be out, and i hopefully can select 2v.

Thanx alot! Shes still running steady! 1 hour into testing! Well looks like i will wait for my 1ghz tbird, since now i am pretty satisfied with what i have accomplished! I have heard of people hitting the gig @ around 2v. I think i have got a great chip here!

Great job Carmine!! I hear those Durons are a bear to O/C compared to the newer T-birdies. Persistence does pay off!!. I guess I cheated, I jumped from a Pentium166mmx to my current chip.

on my a7v:
my 600 akba does a gig at 1.7v. 10*100..
it runs at 1070mhz (107*10) at 1.75v with the 1004d bios, but needs 1.94v with later bios revisions, which provide better mem. performance.
get 1103mhz (10.5*105) at 1.94v for a top stable speed with air cooling. i could get higher with a pelt/water combo, but that was too much effort!

Wow Proze!!! Thats incredible! Just got my DDR memory, 256mb PC2100. It doesn't overclock as well as i thought it would, it does 155 (so far, haven't tested more) stable @ cas 2.5. In Sisoft, the memory scores are incredible! 557/703

Well, before, when i was @ 1007mhz 1.888v, when i ran 3dmark2001, it froze, didn't kick out but froze. After burning in some more, i am not freezing anymore, but now it kicks out to the desktop about 3/4 of the way through the benchmark. I know for a fact, that tonight it will be stable, as my temps will drop about 3-4C. I think 1015 with my heatsink i have right now, is doable.

also, when i have my mutliplier to 6.5, fsb to 153 i believe, @ 999, i get a score of 1800 flat, with my VooDoo3 @ defualt. Thats 70 points higher than i used to get! i trying to break the record @ madonion.com for a voodoo3/duron combo.....the highest score it 1896. Getting closer and closer!
