I got a 1.33GHz T-Bird with the orignal HSF...QUite large i might add...It runs at 31-35 degreez C. I was wondering how fast should i try overclocking it and still be safe with heat...should i up my FSB? or my Clock Multiplyer? I'm getting a new HSF but i'd like to do a litte OCing tonight cuz i'll have some free time.

*edit* I'd like to hit 1.4-1.5 but i just need some expert imput..i'm new at this

You should be able to go 10x140, or 10x145 fairly effortlessly. Perhaps 10x150 if your components are up for it. You may have to up the Vi/o (3.3V) to 3.5 though. The core voltage will have to be experimented to find what works for you. Try staying at 1.75Vcore as long as you can. Remember, the temp that counts is the one that you get when the CPU is carrying a heavy load, like 3D gaming or a stressing program like Prime95, F @ H, SETI, etc.

If you're running at 31-35 degrees C you should be fine to do some overclocking before getting your new HSF. Refer to this article about temps from overclockers.com:
http://www.overclockers.com/tips400/

And to answer your questions on whether to up your FSB or the clock multiplyer, the answer is yes to both. Its a fine brew and each system/processor is different. You need to just work up slowly and do one or the other first, if you get stability for a certain amount of time under full load then modify the other as well and keep doing this process till you start having blue screens and so forth, then back it down to where it was last stable. Obviously the entire time you're doing this you should be watching your cpu temp to be sure you dont exceed the recommended limits(refer to the above article).
