How long would a 1.33ghz last if it was run without a heatsink. If you smelt burning how bad is that. It was for less than a minute before it locked up. I restarted and I got no response from the system at all. I touched the processor and burned my finger so is that bad?
They don't last long w/ no heat sink. If you burnt your finger chances are its fried.

LOL didnt you just buy that processor like 2 days ago
, i mean i cant believe people running the computer with no fan or heatsink , thats like me driving down the wrong side of the road with no hands on the steering wheel. Not that i do drive on the wrong side of the road...... Anyway hahaha

What in God's name poseses you to run it without a heatsink??? Were you doing a class project or something. Sorry to "attack" you like that, but seriously why?
Thats one fast keychain! Maybe it will make you car go faster...LoL...probably not.

Well yes actually I have gone down the wrong side of the road with no hands. And I was just seeing how long it would last. Apparently though it only lasted 30seconds so that goes to tell you don't hit the power button without a heatsink. Truthfully I don't mind that much I know have a really F***ing cool keychain (a 1.33ghz keychain that is). I'm planning on using it to overclock my cars engine but first I must drain the oil and turn the engine on to see how long it will last. WISH ME LUCK

Was that some kind of sick test to see how fast or was it an accident?

You could have just mailed your cpu to me and I would have told you that it would only last around 10 seconds without a heatsink if you cared so little for it.
And boy oh boy you would have also had the gratifacation knowing that you made my day... this is kinda like some rich guy smoking $100 bills, it sould be nice if he just game them to me.
Everyone out there with cool stuff like $100 bills and 1.33GHz CPU's they dont want anymore, dont break, burn, or toss it... send it to me!!!

Make sure you apply some artic silver 2 to help decrease engine friction. It might help you get a better overclock

Actually I do have some artic silver 2 that i was going to use with my cpu and my silverado heatsink but still I now have a cool keychain. And I'll remeber to use the artic silver to degrease the engine thanks for the tip.
