Remember this glitch (http://members.bellatlantic.net/~voyager4/glitch.jpg). I posted this problem, that I had been having for five months, in the video and sound card section. My thinking was that it was either a video card or monitor problem. Well it was a defective chip. I just changed my T'bird 800 for a 1.2 and Eureka! no more video glitches. Here is the page that describes the problem flawed AMD chips (http://www.gordonfamily.com/AMD/). I almost went nuts trying to find the answer. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up so that no one has to go through the frustration I just experienced. Now to get AMD to RMA the defective OEM chip. Anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this? Cheers.
p.s. Thanks to Arkham at the Amdmb.com Iwill motherboard forum for diagnosing the problem correctly. I can't thank him enough.
