Im running at 7.5x133 on my tbird 850 which is 1000mhz and 266mhz fsb all is well runs totally flawless and with my new cooler (dumped the stupidorb) my temps never go beyond 43-44c under load also have sunon 92mm intake fan @ 52 cfm 2 exh fans case has good flow through, when I try to go .5 (to 8.0x133) higher in multiplier my system wont boot??? is this just the limit or is there anything else I can tweek?? My a7v mobo has both dipswitches and that is what I use I didnt have very good luck w/ jumperfree mode I dont know what chip I have, could it be something other than my cpu not letting me go higher??? any info would help Thanks
Peace To All and Happy Oclocking

Try adding more voltage. You will probably need 1.95v to get is stable.

GOOD LUCK

first of all you should check the cpu database on the front page to check what otehrs have done witht he same chip, setting s and all. Next have you tried upping your vcore jsut a little more, something like 1.95v and whats your psu situation?

my voltage is set by jumpers and it is at the highest allowed unles I do voltage mod which I really to want to try , I'm a little unsure about doing it, dont want to blow up my board, I have a 300watt ps all my voltages seem good 12.4 - 5.08 - 3.7 I guess this could be the limit for this chip?? I had a Duron 800 running 1030 stable I figured I could get atleast 200mhz oc from my Tbird but cant get over 1000mhz no matter how I try it 150mhz oc seems to be my limit, I did ck database and others are using higher settings with success but some have voltage mod, could just be my chips limit :(
I did try using higher multi and lower fsb but still maxed out at 1000mhz.
