New Record for 8500!!

A while ago, I purchased a radeon 8500 64mb from a member here. Its been in my 2nd machine. Earlier today, I was bored, so I slapped on a waterblock, some ramsinks, and put it in my main rig. With no vmods, I was able to hit 335/330 with slight artifacts, scoring 1926 in 3dmark 03. At 335/325 I had no artifacts, and got 1862. Tell me, are these nice scores for a non modded 8500? I noticed I was right next to the record holder. I also got 14000-ish in 01. Right now my 9100 is back in, because 64mb just isnt enough for the things I do.

meh, artifacts invalidate it completely. nearly anyone can do that with artifacts. not only do they look bad, artifacts make your card render less scoring hgiher then it should anyway. as i said before, meh.

Excellent job Yuriman. Do you have a link to your score? I'm sure that with just a little bit of tweaking you could take the #1 position.

No actualy, I didnt post it online. Didnt think to. Stupid me. It was such a pita to get it set up, I realy dont want to do it again. But I may. But right now I dont have time.

It was default. But with artifacts. Without it was like 13300 or so.

somethings wrong then, I get 10,600 on an fx5200 and ill be over 11k once my nf7 arrives. an fx5200 beating out your fx5600
