Hey people how we all doing?. Well I built a machine for a friend, he she went and got all of the parts. heres what she got:
ASUS A7N8X (rev 1.06)
AMD 2500+(Barton Core of course)
2 pack Corsair XMS 3200 2 3 2 6 (512 dual channel)
GeForce 5600 Ultra.
And then the rest of the stuff, you know, sound card, drives,BLAH BLAH BALH
Any ways I put it together and while she wasnt looking (j/k) Overclocked it. Being it a non deluxe board and not a rev 2.0.
I could not attain 200 fsb. The maximum I could reach 191 fsb@11
at stock voltage. Ran Prime for 4 hours while we went out for cocktails. came back still running.....Cool huh?.
But what I wanna know. In 3DMark 01. The scores were higher when at the stock clock speeds and lower at overclocked speeds. Same with Sandra. Scores were higher w/stock and lower overclocked.
