Can anyone advise what the fastest AXP is that can be normally used (i.e. not overclocked) on a K7SOM+ V5.1 board with latest BIOS? I think this info. used to be available of ECS's website but they look like they've taken it down (presumably because it's an old board).
I've currently got this board running with a 1600+ quite happily but want to upgrade since the price of the AXPs has dropped so much. My suspicion is that a 2400+ would be okay - basically so long as I make sure that the FSB is 266MHz, not 333MHz - but I don't want to buy one only to find that it doesn't run!
