Im using a t-bird 1.33 on an asus a7a266, i have the chip o/c to 1533 at 1.85volts. Im getting lockups in 3dgames in the form of a blue screen with IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL message. I dont think its heat b/c Im using a Millenium Thermal Glaciator which sould be able to handle it. I suspect PSU b/c its just a 300watt supply. Anyone else getting this erorr? Or can confirm that changing the PSU mite fix? The other option is a bad chip...anyone have any ideas or experiences

either its the heat or its that u just have reached the limits of the chip. I also get the same msg on mine if it gets too hot.

What is ur temp both loaded and idle?

idle cpu temp: 50c (but thats on the A7A266 so 40c)
full load 58c (so 48c)

Also I was thinking it could actually be a irq conflict couldnt it b/c i checked and everything i have thats pci is irq9, inlcuding the sblive, which i know people have had problems with

It's your sound card and possibly the VIA drivers. (4.32 seem ok) Are you using a SB Live? I got this all the time, chased it around to find answer because CS kept locking up or crashing with this same error message. Blamed my Geforce 2 and Geforce3. Change D3D settings. I finally found post that identified it as the SB Live card. Seems SB it hogs the PCI channel. When things get thick it causes this is a problem.

I bought a Acoustic Edge and haven't had the problem since

Does it say 50c idle in bios??? if it does it in bios the temp is right. Its only the asus probe program what shows too high temp.

This is a common error when the cpu is too hot or u have reached its limits. Have u tried clocking it down??
