Rage3D Tweak is showing my clock speed @ 324 Core and 290 Memory. I checked 3D Mark 03 and it says my card is a 9800 Pro.
What the heck?
It should be 380 and like 350 or something.
na. don't worry about it. you have the regular non pro card, at 325/290.
the Pro card runs at 380/340.
Maybe he actually bought a Pro, though. If he did, he actually got a NP in a Pro box. :p

That's what I just figured out too!!!
I bought this on ebay. That ******* sent me a NP card. He flashed the BIOS to the pro BIOS so the system would detect it as a Pro.
Mother****er!!! I'm so piseed right now! I shot him an emial. If he doesn't reply tomorrow, I am reporting it to Paypal and getting my money back.
I didn't think that this would happend because that guy has good feedback on ebay.

good look getting back your money, especially from paypal..They don't like to give money back..
The guy taught you would never figure it out. Fact is most people who buy the card will never check the speed and stuff. Not people form this forum, but people in general.

Is it a black PCB radeon 9800? That's what i have, it came from newegg at 325/290, but it said it was a 9800 pro, and looks exactly like sapphire's cheap 9800 pro, but i could only get it to clock to 391/337 stock.

He didn't even flash the card with a pro bios. If he had, the clocks would have been 380,340 and you probably wouldn't have even figured it out without looking at the specs on the ram chips. Windows displays 9800 pro for basically all 9800 cards, whether they are really a non pro or a pro.

It's red.
Sorry about the swearing. I guess it's not allowed here.

I see.
I saw that the ram was different from my friends Gigabyte card and thought ATI just used different ones.
