Hi there

At the moment I am using a week 19/20 I think 1.4Ghz (200FSB) AYHJA CPU.
I have a vapochill case which is holding temps around -5c, and am able to run the CPU stable around 1820Mhz.

However I want a chip that will get me to 2Ghz+ stable, remember I have the cooling, I just need a chip that does not have a limit under 2Ghz.
So does anyone know of a special code/week/speed of tbird out there that will hold a decent chance of hitting over 2Ghz?

Here are some benchmarks I have done up to now with my current setup at 1.8Ghz+:-

I shall put a link direct to madonion where you can view my results up to now at 1.8Ghz+, if I am breaking the rules then please edit, but don't delete my post.

Thanks in advance

Your best bet is to modify your mobo (if its not done already) or get one of those Epox mobos and up the voltage to the fullest if needed. Go to cpu data base here and some have posted the week of their cpu"s.

2 GHZ is going to be hard to get to!!! If you got 2.25 volts mobo and a vaporchill then i would say your chances are better than most of us.

Good luck hope you can get it done.

Wow amazing, congratulations on the chip, that is an incredible job indeed!!! Dont know how you got it stable, but great job, i thought this was one of those threads from those speed clockers who run up their fsb this high and kill the chip after a few minutes. As said earlyer get an Epox board and run the vcore as high as it can go or buy an asus board an mod the voltage for it to something like 2.3v...Tomshardware.com has some decriptions of this. good luck and nice temps too man...-5....

double post sorry, jsut wanted to add that the chip that probably had the best chance of getting the 2GHz+ is the one you have now or the new AthlonMP, 1200MHz, 1.75vcore by default, with AHX code and AGFCA stepping, good luck

Congrats on running the chip that high!

You can find a lot of voltage mod guides atTweakHardware (http://www.tweakhardware.com), there's also other "tweaking" guides.

I hope you can get to 2Ghz or more!
