This is a great chips that can be pushed up to 1.4GHz+ with the right cooling, voltage.
Your chips was made in the 23rd week of 2001, It is the Y version of the AXIAR(just extra info)
You have a good psu too, and your swiftech should provide you with excellent cooling
good luck with it

Thanks.. I'll post back my results in this topic for others to learn also about this new stepping code..Looked in the cpu database didnt see any with my stepping code..
Thanks
Hey, Cron0s, how do you get that info? I've got an AMD Duron 800
D800AUT1B
AMCA 0101EPAW
What does that tell you? And where can I find this info for myself, for future refrence?

Ill dig around to find the site for you [Oc]Wa11y, i only know the most recent athlon steppings and some duron from reading, i just reformated so now history :(.
All i can tell you about your chip is it has 1.6v default vcore, has pin grid array(PGA), The T i think stands for max temp, with T i think its 90c, it has 64kbytes of L2, and has a 100MHz fsb, built in the 1st week of 2001, and has AMCA stepping, can probably be overclocked to around 1GHz, with good cooling, hope this helps
Ok heres a pic of the stepping(courtesy of Trancebear)
I've got a 1.2G AXIA-9 266 that does 1.47 without too much trouble
And I've got a 1G AXIAR-Y 266 that does 1.44 with no trouble either. Both of these have been run on an A7V133 with a Global Win WBK38.
I would think that you should get to 1.4 with ease, probably beyond.
Good Luck!
Some people have really good luck with the AXIAR models, but HOOT had terrible luck with it. His would barely do 1.4 I believe. I saw one of these chips at a local computer shop, but hesitated on buying. Went back the next day and it was sold. I'd like to see you're results. I'm keeping my eye out for the new AYHJAR models.
I'd sure like to know what this new "R" means. It seems to be showing up a lot now.
