bios for 9500np

i have the sapphire 9500np softmod to 9500pro.i have been thinking about doing the hardmod/bios flash to avoid any future problems.but for the life of me i can't find a bios to do this with.i have googled,searched here,rage3d,driver heaven,guru3d.so if anyone can help me out with a etrontech 3.3 8 pipe bios i would be forever grateful. as always thank you

In order to hardmod your 9500 you need to re-solder a resistor that is near the core. ie take off the heatsink. You can also do it with a conductive pen.

There is no BIOS that will enable the 8 pipes.

i understand how to do the hardmod.but my question is this after i do the hardmod don't i have to flash to an eight pipe bios for it to be reconized as 9500pro or can i just do the hardmod and go with it.
*edit what if i changed the device id with a bios editor after the hardmod?i just don't want to do the hardmod if i'm still gonna have to do the softmod

You will indeed need a BIOS flash after the hardmod. Good luck, I've always just used the soft-mod, never been that steady w/ a soddering iron:)

i can't find a sapphire 8 pipe etrontech 3.3 bios anywhere.sapphire and ati seem to have the same vendor ID 1002.PreservedSwine i read somewhere that you don't even need to solder anything or remove the resitor i'll find the article and post a link a little later
