xp, ie: links that open a new window are half screen...

when i open ie, it opens maximazied(just the way i like it), but when i click a link that opens a new page, it only covers the top half of the page(go to the windows maginifier in start:program,accessories,accesibility options and drag it down to halfway, thats what it looks like)...how do i get it to open links in a maximized window?

Try this... Maximize the window that pops up, and then click the link again. Maximize it once more and then hold the CTRL button while clicking close. Do this for both of the windows that you opened (but keep the original IE window open). Click the link once more, and the problem should be fixed.
