Turning an avi file 90 degrees

Hey is there any software out there that can turn an avi 90 degrees? It was taken with a digital camera but we can't figure out how to make it so that you don't have to turn your head to the side to see it. Is there any way to use winamp or windows media player to do this?

You could always put your monitor on it's side ;)

Failing that, check out http://dvd.box.sk for some useful software that might allow you to do what you need to do :)

Nandub and Virtualdub both have filters you can use to rotate 90 degree's either way (or 180 if need be) but you will have to re-encode the video.
