I had an epox 8KTA2, it was defective I found out after I returned it for an A7V-133. Anyways, my CPU is running at 60 degrees C. I have a front fan, and rear fan, and a Thermal take Orb on my CPU. I have tried putting that gummy stuff that came on the bottom of the spu all over the core, and without it, to no avail. I am not overclocking either. Anyone know why this is going on?

Anyone know why this is going on?First thing to do is get rid of that thermal pad and get some Arctic Silver II thermal paste to put on there. I would also get rid of that Orb as they are known for not being able to handle the heat a bird gives off. Not to mention the Orb's reputation for cracking cores. 60c wont kill your chip but it is awful hot. Check out some of the HSF (HeatSink Fan) reviews on the front page for some good ones to use.
