I want to get a new cpu/mb/fan and was reading posts and need some help.

I was thinking:

1) AYHJA core 1.333 (want it to be able to do 1.5 stable)

2)Abit Kg7 raid or Asus A7A266 or IWILL Ka266 (want to put pc2100 ram)
Any experiences... which one will guarantee me 1.5

3)I read the MC462 is very loud... so, I thinking of going with the Millenium Glaciator as a cooling option.

What do you think?

Welcome to the forums, I enjoy the benefits of the Glaciator, I highly recomend them. As for a guaranteed O/C, there are not sure fire way to know if you will get to 1.5, but the stuff you have so far are good ideas. I wish you luck and feel free to let us know how it goes.

It should do 1.5 without much problem but it's gonna run hot. Might want to look into water cooling.

Nothing will guarantee you 1.5 Ghz, it's all luck of the draw. They are all good boards with maybe the Iwill edging out the others a bit.

I have no experience with either of those HSF's but the Glaciator is supposed to be one of the best coolers out there today. If your gonna hit 1.5 with an air cooler, that would be the one to do it with.

I don't know for sure about the original glaciator, but I know for a fact the glac II will NOT fit on the a7a266 board because of a cap near the DDR slots, so be sure to check that out when ordering
