anybody have experience with the quiet one 3000 pump? its 780gph and 10.5 ft head at 40 watts. like is it as quiet as the quiet one 1200? Just seems like a good deal for $50.

edit: or can anybody tell me why not to buy it?

I wanted this pump SO bad. I placed the order and proceded to wait for 2 1/2 weeks while the pump remained back ordered. I called around and all the popular internet dealers had them on BO as well. I settled on the 1200 model.

What other components will be in your system? Size of HC? Number of blocks?

D-Tek Whitewater
Maze4 GPU Block
Thermochill 120.1 Radiator w/ evercool 120's in push/pull config
and a T-Line of course

decided against watercooling the NB and got the swifty MCX159-A instead

I think the concensus is that big pumps don't measurably improve the performance of the system. You would do much better to invest those watts in cooling the radiator.
