I just bought a secondhanded Athlon Classic 700
and a Abit ka7, now im quite newbie to Amd..
had some tries with a K6-2...but that was a sad story..
i realize there could be a problem upgradeing in the future. Cant even find anyone selling Slot A Athlon 1GHz here in sweden anymore..or is there a way ??

I'm afraid with slot A your upgrade choices are severely limited. As far as I know AMD no longer make slot A athlons at all, and any that exist are generally the slower speed tbirds - don't think I've ever heard of a 1GHz slot A cpu. The only thing that could help would be if you could find a slocket for AMD, but I've never heard of one of those, and even then you'd probably need a bios update - the bottom line is, get socket A. Sorry to break it to you, but you can either keep what you have for a while, and then upgrade the motherboard and cpu, or upgrade the mobo and cpu now. You won't find a cpu upgrade for that board :(
